Riven 2024 was the second game I worked on with Cyan, revitalizing the sequel to Myst with modern visuals, enhanced sound, and interactive features for PC and VR. I collaborated with the Art Director and Art Lead to create immersive environments and props. These posts showcase only a selection of the work I contributed during the game’s development.
For the Spider Throne, I handled both modeling and texturing. The cushions were sculpted in ZBrush for high-poly detail, while the rest of the modeling was completed using 3ds Max. Texturing involved a combination of tiling textures and custom Unreal Engine shaders, with Substance Painter used for intricate details on the cushions. Additionally, I contributed to the cave environment and lighting setup to enhance the overall presentation and atmosphere.
